OUR MINISTRY 
Our ministry is to serve all our Churches in Uganda (i.e. Eastern, Western, Central, and Northern regions). Through teaching and discipline equip the saints for the work of ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ. (Eph 4:12, 2 Tim3: 17)

TEACHING 
We equip our members with basic knowledge of teachings in Kingdom dynamics. We do this weekly and monthly. Our gatherings or classes consist mostly of the refugees in the camps of Nakivale in south-western Uganda in the district of Isingiro. These people are often idle throughout the day in the refugee camps.  We engage them in serious teachings to help them overcome the painful situations  they are passing through.

 DISCIPLESHIP 
The program consists of 84 hours over 15 meetings focusing especially on developing character, interpersonal skills, ministry, leadership, ethics and skills totally from a Biblical basis. This program is intense and is directed at identifying and enhancing each individual's God-given talents or gifts, and teaching them to carry out God’s will for their lives and ministries.

WHAT WE BELIEVE 
We believe and adhere to all the basic tenets of the Christian faith. We believe that all Scripture is inspired by God, and is useful for teaching us what to believe and instructing us in righteousness  (2Tim 3.16) and in truth (John 17:17, Psalms 119:151,160). We especially believe that we are to be the doers of the WORD OF GOD (James 1:22). Our lives are to be a standard and example  of Godly behaviour to all others. 

PUTTING OUR TEACHINGS TO WORK 

The following is a description of the Faith Evangelistic Centre, Kasese, Uganda. The bishop and pastors of this church have been exemplary in putting into action what they have learned from the first series of teachings on the Kingdom of God, by immediately showing growth and commitment to carrying the Word wherever they can. We are committed to assist in their spiritual guidance and direction as they develop a church whose chief mission is to bring forth the kingdom of God. 

My name is Tindimwebwa Christopher. I am the Bishop ff Faith Evangelistic Centre ministry, Uganda, East Africa.  Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faith Evangelistic Centre is a church organization with its headquarters in Kasese District/ western Uganda.  The purpose of this ministry is to reach out to the lost souls through sound biblical teachings and discipleship, and to invest in the lives of these people so that they can become strong men and women of God who will further God’s Kingdom.

This church ministry was started in 1982 and has grown to a total of 175 churches in Western, Eastern, Central and Northern Uganda,  and in Burundi and Rwanda. Today we have 12,250 members. PRACTICAL IDEAS 

In brief,  our work in Uganda is to:

Ø Furnish training in leadership to leaders in churches by means of seminars, coupled with monitored follow up seminars after the initial seminar.

Ø Engender motivation in regard to training and guiding, through leadership in churches and community, thereby helping the people of Uganda to become self-sufficient through teaching skills, crafts, and other practical trades.

Ø Supply people with employment, self-motivation skills, and a greater understanding of their self-worth and importance to God and His Kingdom.

Ø Expand our scope to include other income-generating projects such as animal husbandry and crops, micro-finance, small scale manufacturing, printing, and carpentry workshops to support the work of God as well as those who produce the goods. An additional possibility, depending on the locality we can obtain, is the incorporation of a small plant nursery on our grounds.  Naturally this will necessitate initial funds for machinery and materials. We will then be able to employ a variety of younger and older Christians, which will have far-reaching benefits not only to themselves, but also to their families and community.  The parents of many young people have died of AIDS, malaria, civil wars, etc., and these youth now have no way of receiving further education.  Many of the people in rural areas still live on a barter system.

LOCATION
We are located in the beautiful western Uganda town of Kasese, near Queen Elizabeth National Park. Uganda is a country rich in natural beauty and wonderful people with a polite character. Kasese is 276 km away from Kampala via the town of Fort Portal.

WE HAVE A CRITICAL NEED FOR A VEHICLE. Our living and ministry expenses come out of our meager resources. The success of our ministry has produced more requests for our teachings and discipleship series than we can accept.

CURRENT SCHOOL PROJECTS 
We offer nursery and primary education for orphans whose parents have died of AIDS, malaria and civil strife, and for other vulnerable children whose parents or guardians are very poor and cannot earn a dollar per week. We  encourage our members and churches to keep dairy and beef cattle for income to help the Christians. This increases family incomes daily, weekly and monthly.

CROP FARMING PROJECT
We offer basic training in growing cash crops to all our members as this creates daily income and employment.
 

MICRO-FINANCE PROJECTS
We offer micro-finance project schemes to members who do not have capital for small business. Small loans of 100 - 1,000 U.S. dollars are provided to all our Christians for business entrepreneurship. We offer vocational training for children and elderly people who want to have skills for their future sustainability.  

VOLUNTEER PROJECT 
If you can sing, play an instrument, teach children, teach the basics of Scripture, teach drama, construct, ply a building trade, tailor, make crafts, etc, then we can use your talents short-term and long-term. More details will soon be available.
