Bishop Tindiwebwa Christopher's Biography

 Ø Born on December 14, 1952 to Pastor Patrick G. and Mary Turyagyenda

 Ø Grew up in Kabale District, in south western Uganda

 Ø  Went to school for primary and secondary education 1958 -1970

 Ø Joined Kampala Bible School 1969-1971

 Ø Was forced into exile 1972-1982

 Ø Married Margaret 1978; have two daughters and seven grandchildren.

 Ø Lost my father 1980.  He was shot by government soldiers.

  Ø Enrolled in the East Africa Bible College in Kenya 1979, graduated with a Diploma 1982

Our Ministry in Uganda:

Ø We started the Faith Evangelistic Centre in 1983

Ø Since then the ministry has established 175 churches in western Uganda.

Ø In 1997 some of these churches under the guidance of Faith Evangelistic Centre started orphanage schools and Faith Home of Champions.  Since then we have opened 11 orphan nurseries and primary schools. 

Ø Some other programs include; youth and singles programs, community orphanages, and an abandoned children project.
